Synopsis

When her mother vanishes from their apartment, Clary discovers what she really is: a Shadowhunter, one of the half-angel warriors who have hunted demons among humans for centuries. Lily Collins plays the girl pulled into a hidden city of warlocks, vampires and werewolves. At her side are the brash hunter Jace (Jamie Campbell Bower) and childhood friend Simon (Robert Sheehan), who had no idea what he was walking into. The cast also features Lena Headey, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Jared Harris.
Adapted from the first book in Cassandra Clare's bestselling series, the movie brings her gothic mythology to the screen: secret orders, an angelic cup, an old curse.
