Synopsis
Hocus Pocus 2 (2022) is a fantasy comedy from director Anne Fletcher that you can watch online on iFILM. Twenty-nine years after the original, the Sanderson sisters claw their way back into modern-day Salem — again played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy.
This time the Black Flame Candle gets lit by accident, by three teenagers. Becca, Izzy and a friend wake the witches on Halloween, and the trio is hungry for power, revenge and one last night before sunrise. It falls to the high schoolers to send the sisters back before dawn breaks over Salem. Along the way there are jokes about smartphones, big-box pharmacies and three 17th-century witches trying to make sense of the present day.
A sequel to Disney's 1993 cult favorite, the film premiered straight to Disney+ and became one of the platform's biggest opening weekends.
