Synopsis
Set It Up (2018) is a romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Two burned-out New York assistants hatch a scheme to trick their workaholic bosses into dating, hoping a romance upstairs will finally buy them a free evening.
On paper, it's a simple con. Zoey Deutch plays Harper, who fetches and fixes for a ruthless sports journalist (Lucy Liu); Glen Powell is Charlie, running himself ragged for an abrasive investor (Taye Diggs). The two assistants forge texts, rig elevator run-ins, and order pizza on someone else's tab. The catch: the more they engineer love for their bosses, the more they keep glancing at each other.
Director Claire Scanlon builds the film on snappy dialogue and the easy chemistry of its leads, reviving the office rom-com without tipping into sugar. Pete Davidson and Meredith Hagner round out the cast. Stream Set It Up (2018) online on iFILM.
