Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020) is a musical comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by David Dobkin, it stars Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams as two Icelanders chasing a wild pop dream.
Lars caught the Eurovision bug as a boy watching ABBA on TV, and he never let it go. Now middle-aged and still living with his father, he writes songs with his childhood friend Sigrit. Their band, Fire Saga, plays a bar in a tiny fishing town where the crowd only wants the same drinking anthem, "Jaja Ding Dong," over and over. Then a freak accident hands the duo a slot representing Iceland on Europe's biggest stage.
Pierce Brosnan plays Lars's gruff, disapproving father, Dan Stevens steals scenes as a smooth Russian rival, and cameos from real Eurovision performers turn the spoof into a love letter.
