The Knights Templar have lost their fire, and Landry (Tom Cullen), a Holy Land veteran, takes command of the order's Paris temple just as he stumbles onto a secret that changes everything. From there the season chases the Holy Grail, brings Pope Boniface to the city, and tightens the schemes of royal advisor Guillaume de Nogaret. Princess Isabella and Queen Joan play their own dangerous hands while the net slowly closes around the brotherhood.
