Synopsis
The Hunter's Prayer (2017) is a lean action thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Jonathan Mostow and starring Sam Worthington and Odeya Rush. Hitman Lucas is contracted by a powerful businessman named Edison to eliminate a young American woman, Ella — the daughter of someone who knew too much about Edison's affairs.
Lucas doesn't pull the trigger. He and Ella end up on the run together across Switzerland and Britain, hunted by the same organization that hired him. The film keeps the plot simple and the pace moving; Worthington plays a man who is very good at violence and increasingly reluctant to use it, which gives the standard pursuit format a quieter edge.
