Synopsis
Hollywood Stargirl (2022) is a music-driven coming-of-age romance you can watch online on iFILM. A young singer moves to Los Angeles and starts over, this time beneath the city lights.
When Stargirl's mother (Grace VanderWaal) is hired as a costume designer on a movie, the two leave Arizona behind for L.A. There Stargirl falls in with a colorful crew of aspiring filmmakers, musicians and dreamers. A first real romance takes shape, and her songs begin to travel far beyond her own backyard.
A sequel to 2020's Stargirl, directed by Julia Hart, the film leans hard on live performance — VanderWaal sings every song herself. Uma Thurman, Judy Greer and Judd Hirsch fill out the cast.
