Synopsis

The Simpsons (1989), Season 3 — watch online on iFILM: 24 episodes from Fox, September 1991 through August 1992, by then the defining fixture of American primetime.

The season announces itself: Homer wears a pink shirt to work and ends up in a psychiatric ward sharing a room with a man who is absolutely certain he is Michael Jackson. Moe steals Homer's homemade cocktail recipe and turns his dingy bar into the most popular spot in Springfield. Lisa travels to Washington and learns that American democracy does not quite resemble what the textbooks describe. Sideshow Bob walks out of prison and announces he is engaged to Selma — and Bart starts worrying immediately. Homer buys Lisa a pony, then takes a night shift at the Kwik-E-Mart to cover it. Krusty makes peace with his rabbi father.

Season 3 is where the show locked in its voice for good — dense, caustic, every episode earning its runtime. Stream The Simpsons Season 3 online on iFILM — all episodes, good quality.
