A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon (2019) is Aardman's claymation comedy, and it's free to watch online on iFILM. A flying saucer crashes near Mossy Bottom Farm, and out tumbles Lu-La, a tiny alien with a sweet tooth and the power to move things with her mind.

Shaun and the flock fall for their cosmic guest instantly and set out to get her home before a shadowy alien-hunting agency tracks her down. From there it's runaway shopping carts, supermarket chaos, and a steady stream of sci-fi nods that grown-ups catch while the kids just howl with laughter. There's almost no dialogue. The whole thing runs on faces and sound effects, the way silent comedy used to.

Directors Will Becher and Richard Phelan built it frame by frame, nudging clay figures one tiny move at a time, the painstaking handmade craft Aardman is loved for worldwide. The film landed an Oscar nomination for best animated feature. Warm without being gooey, it plays just as well for five-year-olds as for the parents next to them.
