Synopsis
Phantasm II (1988) is the horror-action sequel you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Don Coscarelli — the man behind the original 1979 cult hit. James Le Gros takes over as Mike, with Reggie Bannister returning as the trigger-happy Reggie.
Mike gets out of the psychiatric ward, and almost no one believes what he saw. Reggie does. The Tall Man is back on the road, cutting a path across the American West with a fresh army of dwarfish minions and silver spheres that are faster and deadlier than before. Mike tracks him down, guided in part by visions of a young woman named Liz who seems to sense the same darkness closing in.
Coscarelli leaned into action this time around — bigger budget, louder set-pieces, and a pace that rarely lets up. It trades the eerie dreamlike quality of the first film for something closer to a road-trip chase movie with fangs. Stream Phantasm II (1988) online on iFILM.
