Synopsis

They're hiding. Rience, a badly scarred mage with no patience and a very specific target, hunts Ciri on behalf of someone who prefers not to be named. The Brotherhood of Sorcerers offers no shelter: a betrayal at the Aretuza conclave rewrites the political map in a single evening and puts nearly everyone in danger. Ciri and Yennefer argue about what comes next while Ciri slowly grasps what carrying Elder Blood actually costs.
