Synopsis
The Midnight Club (2022), Season 1 is the Netflix supernatural drama you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes that follow star student Ilonka, whose diagnosis trades a college acceptance for a bed at Brightcliffe, a remote hospice for terminally ill teens.
Every night at midnight the residents gather by the fire and trade frightening stories. They share one pact: whoever dies first has to send the rest a sign from beyond. The season braids two threads — a fresh invented tale told around the fire each night, and Ilonka's slow excavation of Brightcliffe's own past: a hidden chamber, odd clues, an old cult, and the legend of Julia Jayne, a girl said to have walked out of here cured. The closer the club gets to an answer, the harder it is to tell real hope from a lie.
Created by Mike Flanagan from Christopher Pike's young-adult novels, the show is less about jump scares than about growing up in the shadow of death.
