V/H/S/85

V/H/S/85 (2023) is a found-footage horror anthology you can watch online on iFILM, dressed up as a worn-out videotape from the middle of the decade. It's the fifth chapter in Shudder's long-running V/H/S series.

A fake 1985 TV documentary about scientists studying a strange creature holds the whole thing together. Other recordings keep surfacing between its reels. A group of friends drives out to a lake and the trip goes very wrong. A news worker films an earthquake in Mexico City from far too close. A one-man stage show veers off script. A detective starts receiving tapes of murders that haven't happened yet. The segments come from Scott Derrickson, David Bruckner, Natasha Kermani, Mike P. Nelson and Gigi Saul Guerrero.
