Above Suspicion

Fresh-faced agent Mark Putnam arrives in a depressed coal town in eastern Kentucky, eager to make a name. He recruits Susan Smith, a local woman trapped in poverty and an abusive relationship, as his star informant. She sees him as a ladder out. He sees a useful asset. Neither account for what happens when the professional arrangement turns into something neither can walk back.
