Synopsis
Static Shock (2000), Season 2 — watch online on iFILM, 11 episodes that push Dakota's electric hero into the big leagues of the wider DC universe.
This run leans hard into crossovers. It opens with Static teaming up with Batman and Robin against the Joker, who's recruiting muscle out of Dakota, and a few episodes later Shaquille O'Neal shows up playing himself. Star guests aside, the show keeps its own threads moving. Richie picks up temporary powers and enjoys them a little too much, sister Sharon closes in on Virgil's secret, and familiar faces — Hotstreak, a reformed Rubberband Man — circle back from new angles. The tone swings wide, from a near zombie-horror outbreak to the quiet domestic mess of Pop's new police-officer girlfriend. It lands on "Jimmy," a hushed, heavy episode about school bullying that viewers tend to remember on its own.

Rubberband Man returns and saves Static from a new villain named Aquamaria, but it'll take more than that to get Static to believe that Rubberband Man is now a good guy.

A Bang Baby named Madelyn Spaulding turns everyone in Dakota into a zombie. Everyone but Virgil, that is.

Adam Evans (the Rubberband-Man) gets a recording contract with the help of A.J. McLean of the Backstreet Boys, but the jealous shape-shifter Replikon kidnaps A.J. in an attempt to scuttle Adam's deal.
