Synopsis
Boston Blue (2025) is a crime drama you can watch online on iFILM, and a spin-off of the long-running hit Blue Bloods. Veteran NYPD detective Danny Reagan leaves New York behind for a new badge with the Boston PD. Donnie Wahlberg returns in the role.
In Boston he's partnered with Detective Lena Silver, the eldest daughter of a law enforcement dynasty that runs deep through the city — District Attorney Mae Silver, Police Superintendent Sarah Silver, rookie officer Jonah and Rev. Edwin Peters all share the same dinner table. Reagan does things his own way, so fitting into someone else's house rules makes for friction. He's also hoping to repair things with his son Sean, who has landed in Boston too.
Sonequa Martin-Green and Ernie Hudson anchor the new ensemble, while the format stays familiar: a case every week, family arguments over dinner, and the old tug-of-war between duty and blood. Anyone who spent years with the Reagans will feel right at home. Stream Boston Blue (2025) online on iFILM.
