Kristen killed a man. She hasn't found a way to live with it. Her darker side keeps pushing through the season's cases — a jinn haunting a nine-year-old, a UFO sighting reported by a military pilot, an electrode experiment at Cornell University the team calls the God Helmet, and the RSM Fertility clinic, which connects back to more prior investigations than anyone expected. David is counting weeks to ordination and trying not to count how close he's standing to Kristen. Ben's nights stop being restful; his scientific framework does nothing against what visits him in his sleep.
