Synopsis
Love, Death & Robots Season 3 — nine animated shorts, watch online on iFILM. Released in 2022, the third volume from Tim Miller and David Fincher keeps the anthology formula: nine independent studios, nine separate worlds, nothing shared between them.
The three robots return to tour humankind's last survival attempts with their trademark dry commentary. A sailor aboard an alien vessel bargains with something massive from the deep — the deal costs more than he planned. Two scientists embed themselves in an ancient swarm intelligence and gradually understand what the organism has actually been doing to them. The season ends with Jibaro: a nearly wordless confrontation between a deaf knight and a siren, all motion and gold and blood, that won an Emmy for animated programming.
