Dorothy and Sean Turner lost their baby. Dorothy's solution: a lifelike reborn doll, and a real nanny to care for it. Leanne arrives, treats the doll like a living child, and says nothing strange about any of it. Sean watches her. Julian starts digging. What begins as a portrait of denial slowly becomes something much harder to explain.
