Apple works a retail shift at a mall store called Free Eden. After closing, she runs a witchy underground cult in the basement with fellow employees Cherry and Fig. When new hire Pumpkin arrives and starts poking at the cracks in their carefully performed sisterhood, the whole thing threatens to come apart. Each woman carries something poisonous — buried shame, old rage, a hunger she won't name out loud.
