Space Cadet

Space Cadet (2024) is an American comedy directed by Liz W. Garcia — watch it online on iFILM. Emma Roberts plays Tiffany "Rex" Simpson, a Florida party girl whose lifelong dream of going to space runs headlong into the small problem of her résumé being largely fictional. NASA, however, doesn't know that yet.

Rex lands a spot in the ultra-competitive astronaut training program alongside candidates who actually have the credentials they listed. Tom Hopper, Poppy Liu and Gabrielle Union round out a cast that keeps the energy light and the stakes low enough to coast on charm. The film doesn't reinvent the underdog comedy formula — Rex's moxie versus institutional gatekeeping is well-trodden ground — but Roberts plays it with enough warmth to make it a breezy watch.
