Synopsis

Suspicion (2022), Season 1 — eight-episode British crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Four ordinary Brits show up on hotel CCTV from the night Katherine Newman's son was violently kidnapped. The evidence is circumstantial. Their alibis are worse.

Investigators Vanessa and Scott run a cross-Atlantic manhunt while the suspects scramble not just to clear their names but to work out whether one of them actually did it. Episode 5 locks all five in a country cottage for a chamber-piece interrogation inside the chase — the season's sharpest hour. Toward the end, Martin Copeland's past pulls the investigation into territory no one anticipated, and Katherine risks her media empire in a live interview that reframes everything. Innocence is relative here, and the show earns that tagline.
