Synopsis

Season 1 sets up the show's core joke: the gap between the Goodmans' cheerful lives and what their border collie actually does. Tommy chases a farm girl and hunts for his first job. Grandpa grows convinced the dog is hiding something terrible inside his doghouse and spends the season trying to prove it — while the rest of the family writes him off as paranoid. Mr. Pickles handles his own problems efficiently, on his own schedule, with nobody the wiser. Sharp, mean black comedy for adults raised on sanitized cartoons.
