Frontier (2016) is a Canadian-American action drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Set in 18th-century North America, it follows Declan Harp — a part-Irish, part-Cree outlaw who has declared a one-man war on the Hudson's Bay Company's stranglehold over the fur trade. Jason Momoa plays him as pure menace, which is exactly the right call.

A young Irish drifter, played by Landon Liboiron, gets pulled into the carnage almost by accident. Zoe Boyle and Christian McKay round out a web of traders, colonial officers, and Indigenous leaders all competing over routes, pelts, and survival. The show does not shy away from how violent this era actually was — every alliance is temporary, every deal is a trap.
