At the airport before a vacation, hotheaded dog Chance, prim cat Sassy and wise old retriever Shadow bolt from their carriers and wind up loose on the streets of San Francisco. Home lies clear across town and over the Golden Gate Bridge, with street dogs, animal-control vans and a few nastier dangers along the way. Michael J. Fox, Sally Field and Ralph Waite return to voice the trio.
