Synopsis

A fresh zombie outbreak hits San Francisco while the heroes chase cases that look unrelated. Leon tracks a kidnapped DARPA scientist, Claire digs into whales turning up dead in the bay, and Chris hunts an unknown strain of the T-Virus. Every thread ties back to one spot — Alcatraz Island, where something new and monstrous is waiting. That's where the film delivers what fans showed up for: gunfights, mutants and a boss battle staged in pure Resident Evil fashion.
This isn't a jumping-on point for newcomers; it's a treat aimed at series players, stacked with familiar faces, callbacks and action choreography no live-action shoot could pull off.
