Synopsis
Criminal Law (1989) is Martin Campbell's psychological thriller, available to watch online on iFILM. Rising Boston attorney Ben Chase wins an acquittal for a rich client charged with a savage murder.
Less than a day after the verdict, another body turns up — same signature, same cruelty. Chase, played by Kevin Bacon, realizes exactly who he set loose. His client Martin Thiel, played by Gary Oldman, is a smooth, moneyed heir who toys with his lawyer like prey. So Chase makes a reckless choice: he agrees to defend the man again, this time to dig up the evidence that will lock him away for good.
