Synopsis
Reasonable Doubt (2014) is a crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Rising district attorney Mitch Brockden kills a man in a hit-and-run and drives off, only for someone else to be charged with the murder.
To bury his own guilt, Mitch deliberately sabotages the prosecution and gets the accused acquitted — the man who was found standing over the body. The relief doesn't last. He soon realizes he has freed a far more dangerous killer, and now he is the one tracking down the very person he set loose, before the body count climbs.
Dominic Cooper carries the lead, with Samuel L. Jackson turning every scene into a staring contest. Director Peter Howitt builds the story around one uncomfortable idea: what the price of staying silent does to a person. It is no marquee release, but it works as a taut single-evening watch.
