Synopsis
Season 3 of TURN: Washington's Spies (2016) is available to watch online on iFILM — ten episodes of AMC's war-and-politics drama, where the hunt for a mole turns into a race to see who gets unmasked first.
Abe opens the season covering up a murder, saddled with an accomplice he would never have chosen. His cover frays, the Culper Ring is exposed again, and Simcoe runs riot through Setauket. The deeper rot, though, is on the American side: Benedict Arnold, drunk on his own authority and pushed by Peggy Shippen, quietly reaches out to the British. His back-channel dealings with Major André stretch across the whole season and creep toward the most dangerous prize of all — West Point. Tallmadge, Caleb, Anna, and the watchful Robert Townsend work half-blind, unsure which side's informant has already started writing to the enemy.
Creator Craig Silverstein builds the season around Arnold's real betrayal, but the gripping part isn't the treason itself — it's how slowly, how ordinarily, a man talks himself into it.
