Synopsis

Hoping to leave grief behind, Brenda packs up her kids and drives cross-country toward a new life on the West Coast. Somewhere in the empty stretches of New Mexico the family loses contact with the outside world, a murder happens close by, and a bag of stolen cash goes missing. Soon a cold-blooded killer is hunting them, and Brenda has to shield her children on her own. Latifah anchors the film as a cornered mother, with Ludacris as her reckless brother.
