Synopsis
The Boys Presents: Diabolical (2022), Season 1 is the animated anthology spin-off of The Boys you can watch online on iFILM — eight standalone shorts with no shared plot tying them together.
The anthology form lets each segment go its own way. One short follows a baby whose laser eyes slice through everything she looks at. Another pulls Billy Butcher straight from the original comics as he leans on a dealer to spike a supe's fix. A group of teens tries Compound V the wrong way and pays for it. The closing chapter rewinds to a young Homelander and where he got his start. Tone swings hard, too: the episode about an old man and his dying wife lands like a gut punch, cartoon or not.
Different creative teams built each piece, so the art jumps from anime to broad network animation across all eight episodes. Best for fans of the main series who want the meanness dialed up. Stream Diabolical Season 1 online on iFILM.
