Turtles Forever

Turtles Forever (2009) is the feature-length animated crossover you can watch online on iFILM. The Ninja Turtles from the 2003 cartoon get knocked into a parallel dimension and run straight into older, goofier versions of themselves — the heroes in a half shell from the 1980s show.

Bickering over whose universe is cooler stops mattering fast: two Shredders join forces to wipe every reality off the map, so all eight turtles have to fight side by side. Directors Roy Burdine and Lloyd Goldfine built this as a 25th-anniversary love letter to the franchise, clashing hand-drawn cells against CGI and poking fun at how the canon kept rewriting itself.
