Synopsis
Resident Evil (2022) Season 1 — watch online on iFILM. Eight episodes of Netflix horror sci-fi loosely drawn from the games, built around two timelines and one family: the daughters of an Umbrella scientist.
In 2022, sisters Jade and Billie move to New Raccoon City to live with their father, Albert Wesker, and sneak into his lab. A bite from a test animal sets loose something no one can take back. In 2036, six billion people have turned into T-virus monsters, and a grown Jade studies their behaviour while Umbrella's hunters track her down. The season cuts between the two eras episode by episode, slowly answering the real question — what their father did to his own children.
Showrunner Andrew Dabb builds a fresh story on the franchise's mythology rather than retelling it. The season works better as a family drama about betrayal and inheritance than as a monster action piece. Stream Resident Evil Season 1 online on iFILM, all episodes in good quality.
