Synopsis

The Mighty Boosh (2004), Season 1 — eight episodes of British comic fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Howard Moon and Vince Noir run the cages at the Zoo-niverse, a zoo presided over by the baffling Bob Fossil and owned by the self-aggrandising adventurer Dixon Bainbridge.

The first series pitches both of them into a new crisis every week: Howard is talked into boxing a killer kangaroo to impress the reptile department's Mrs Gideon, zoo animals start disappearing in sequence, Bollo the gorilla falls gravely ill and Howard has to impersonate him in an ape suit to protect the sponsorship money, and the pair mount an expedition into the Arctic Tundra with Gary Numan to retrieve something called the Egg of Mantumbi. Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding wrote and star throughout — the dynamic between their two characters is what the whole show runs on. Stream The Mighty Boosh Season 1 on iFILM.
