Synopsis
The Mists of Avalon (2001), Season 1 — a two-part fantasy drama you can watch online on iFILM. This TNT miniseries adapts Marion Zimmer Bradley's novel, retelling the Arthurian legend from the viewpoint of the women who actually shaped it.
Post-Roman Britain is fracturing. Saxon raids press from the north, Christianity crowds out the goddess and her priestesses, and three women pull the kingdom in opposite directions: Viviane fights to protect Avalon's fading power, Morgaine is caught between two worlds she can't reconcile, and Morgause quietly builds her own path to the throne.
