For the first time in thirty years, Puppet Time is off the air, and Jeff loses the one channel he had to the kids who need him. So he invents a workaround — and, for the first time, becomes a target instead of a saint. The season pushes him into murkier moral territory than before: he weighs telling his first lie to win back his ex-wife, offers part of himself on an operating table, hunts for a real friend, and tries to build a whole new Pickles family after firing the old one. Fewer jokes. More silence, more hurt.
