Slapface

Slapface (2022) is a bleak horror film by Jeremiah Kipp that you can watch online on iFILM. Left in his older brother's care after their mother's death, young Lucas wanders into the woods and strikes up an uneasy friendship with a creature hiding in an abandoned house.

The monster becomes his protector and his accomplice. Cross Lucas, bully him, push him too far — and the thing in the trees answers back, violently. The line between comfort and possession starts to blur, while the local sheriff struggles to tell who the real victim is. August Maturo leads the cast, with screen veteran Dan Hedaya alongside him. The film leans on silence and isolation far more than cheap jump scares.
