TV-14Season 6
Bad title. Good comedy.
Synopsis
Cougar Town (2009), Season 6 is the comedy's farewell run, and you can watch it online on iFILM — thirteen episodes that send Jules Cobb and her cul-de-sac crew off for good. By now the show has long outgrown its own title; this is a series about friends, wine, and grown-up life that keeps refusing to settle down.
The big shift this year is parenthood. Laurie and Travis welcome baby Bobby and fumble their way into being a mom and dad, roughly as gracefully as they handle everything else. Andy loses both the mayor's office and his job, lands at home, and tries on the stay-at-home dad role while Ellie watches with a raised eyebrow. Jules, meanwhile, hunts down a best friend for her father Chick, rescues a high school prom after a hurricane, and reads an actual book for the first time. Every storyline edges toward a major life change by the last episode.
Creators Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel close the door gently, with the same chatty, low-key humor the show carried from day one. Season 6 is for viewers who got attached to this gang and want a proper goodbye, glass of "big" in hand. Stream Cougar Town Season 6 online on iFILM.
