Synopsis
Baskets Season 3 (2018) is ready to watch online on iFILM — ten episodes of FX's melancholy comedy in which the family finally goes into business together. The result is the Baskets Family Rodeo, with Christine installed as President and CEO despite having never once been to a rodeo.
The whole venture runs on hope and very little else. Chip lands his first steady job since Arby's, yet he can barely transfer a phone call, let alone recruit the clowns they badly need. Dale, the only one who has actually run a company, can't get the family, the staff, or the horses to listen to him. The season wanders through a tilapia Thanksgiving, a women's conference, fresh disasters in the arena, and a New Year's Eve that ends in real grief. As ever with this show, the absurd and the tender sit side by side.
Zach Galifianakis again plays both brothers, and Louie Anderson returns as their mother Christine. This run feels softer and warmer than the last two — for once the Baskets are building something together, however crooked. Stream Baskets Season 3 online on iFILM.
