Nacho Libre

Nacho Libre (2006) is an American comedy directed by Jared Hess and starring Jack Black, available to watch online on iFILM. Brother Ignacio cooks food scraps into meals for the orphans at a Mexican monastery — and quietly resents every minute of it. When the monastery's finances hit rock bottom, he decides to moonlight as a masked luchador without telling anyone who's taken a vow.

His tag-team partner is a scrawny street thief named Esqueleto. His inspiration is the beautiful Sister Encarnación (Ana de la Regalado). His costume is a stretchy cape and questionable tights. Hess brings the same deadpan, slightly off-kilter energy that made Napoleon Dynamite work — transplanted here to sun-baked Mexico, with Black committing fully to every pratfall and power ballad.
