Synopsis

A teenage girl's naked body turns up on the riverbank, and the staging matches a killing from a month earlier. Villagers whisper about the basajaun, a guardian creature from local myth said to mark its victims. Amaia hunts a flesh-and-blood killer, yet the longer she stays in the valley, the louder her own past grows: a buried family secret, a difficult mother, sisters, and wounds she spent years trying to outrun.
Shot in near-constant drizzle among Navarre's dense forests, the film builds dread through damp atmosphere and what goes unsaid rather than cheap shocks.
