Synopsis

A drifter named Billy Tyson picks her up and hides her at a lonely waystation while her husband's men comb the country for the runaway bride. From there it's a classic Western standoff: a handful of people boxed in against a posse, tense talk at gunpoint and short, sharp shootouts. Director Michael Feifer keeps it lean, under ninety minutes.
Veteran Bruce Dern plays the cold-blooded heavy, and he's the one who lifts this small-scale story up a notch. The shoot carries a sad footnote: lead actor Jay Pickett died on set during production.
