Synopsis

The mechanics of death are routine to her now, so the show digs into the people doing it. Rube finally walks back into the life he left behind. Meanwhile the Lass family sells the house George grew up in and tries, clumsily, to move on.
A recast and a heavier tone cost the season some of its early bounce, but the payoff is depth — less a string of sketches, more one finished story about growing up after you've already died.
