Synopsis
Leap Year (2010) is an Irish-American romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Anand Tucker and starring Amy Adams and Matthew Goode, it sends a type-A Boston woman across the Irish countryside on a mission to propose to her boyfriend on February 29th.
The Celtic tradition says a man can't refuse a woman's proposal on that date. Anna has it all planned. Fly to Dublin, find boyfriend, pop the question. Then a storm diverts the plane to Wales, the ferry dumps her on the wrong side of the country, and the only person willing to drive her across Ireland is Declan — a sarcastic innkeeper who finds her schedule-obsessed personality mildly insuffuriating. Roads collapse, livestock block the highway, and the trip takes three days instead of three hours.
