Synopsis
Hindi Medium (2017) is an Indian comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Saket Chaudhary and led by Irrfan Khan alongside Saba Qamar. Raj Batra runs a modest but profitable shop in Delhi's Chandni Chowk — Hindi-speaking, unpretentious, loved in his neighbourhood. His wife has bigger plans: their daughter must get into an elite English-medium school, and nothing will stand in the way.
What follows is a full-scale social charade — the right address, the rehearsed interview answers, the carefully chosen outfits. When that still fails, the only door left open is a quota reserved for families below the poverty line. To use it, the Batras have to move into a slum and live there for a month. Actually live there.
