The Hideout

The Hideout (Il nascondiglio, 2007) is an Italian mystery-thriller directed by Pupi Avati, available to watch online on iFILM. After fifteen years in a Minnesota psychiatric ward following her husband's unexplained suicide, Lea Di Pietro moves to Davenport and buys a house for a price that shouldn't be that low.

The reason becomes clear. A murder happened there fifty years ago, and whoever buried it wants it to stay buried. Laura Morante plays a woman who isn't entirely sure how far she can trust her own mind, while Burt Young and Treat Williams fill the world around her with quiet menace.
