Synopsis

Paul only wanted to pass through on his way to Mexico. But a loudmouth from the gang led by the marshal's son picks the wrong man to humiliate, and the feud escalates until the thugs kill the one thing Paul still cares about, his dog. That cruelty turns a soft-spoken wanderer into a methodical avenger, and the whole town starts drowning in gunfire. Two sisters who run the local hotel end up taking his side.
Ethan Hawke plays Paul opposite John Travolta as the limping marshal, and their face-off anchors the film. Ti West, better known for slow-burn horror, trades scares for a lean spaghetti-western homage soaked in dry, dark humor and a nod to Sergio Leone.
