Synopsis
High Strung (2016), directed by Michael Damian, is a music-driven romantic drama you can watch online on iFILM. Johnny, a classically trained hip-hop violinist, busks in the New York City subway to pay rent. Ruby is a ballet dancer on scholarship at the Manhattan Conservatory of the Arts. Their worlds shouldn't overlap — but a chance underground encounter sets something in motion neither of them planned.
With the help of a street hip-hop crew, they prepare for a competition that could launch both careers. Keenan Kampa and Nicholas Galitzine lead the cast, with Jane Seymour and Sonoya Mizuno in supporting roles.
