Synopsis

Bea, the Russian-speaking daughter of Soviet immigrants, and Twila, a fearless small-town outsider, refuse the official story. So they dig. Across the season they trade typewriters for tradecraft: recruiting their first assets, running sources, working cover dates and chasing a string of killings whose threads loop back to the men they buried. The further in they go, the clearer it gets — there's a mole inside the embassy and a KGB scheme bigger than either of them guessed.
