Nisekoi (ニセコイ, 2014) is a Japanese romantic comedy anime series you can watch online on iFILM. Raku Ichijo is a high school student who happens to be the heir to a yakuza family. He also carries a locket from a promise made ten years ago — a girl gave him the pendant and kept the key; they swore to marry when they met again.

Then Chitoge Kirisaki knees him in the face on the first day of school. She is the daughter of a rival gang boss. To keep both families from open war, the kids are pushed into a fake relationship. They hate each other immediately and loudly. Voice performances by Koki Uchiyama and Nao Toyama.

Studio Shaft adapted the manga by Naoki Komi, which ran in Weekly Shonen Jump between 2011 and 2016. The central mystery — which girl holds the key to his locket — is almost beside the point; the show lives in the daily comedic fallout of a fake romance between two people who can barely stay in the same room.
